Shehbaz Sharif raises minimum wage of civil servants up to 25,000 rupees

ISLAMABAD: In his first speech in National Assembly as prime minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif raises minimum wage on Monday of government employees up to Rs 25,000, which applies from April 1st.

Among other relief measures, Prime Minister Shehbaz said cheap wheat would be introduced to utilities. stores youth will be provided with laptops and a Benazir card will be introduced.

‘We need wash out effects of previous government

Taking into account economy of Pakistan, said Shahbaz, if Pakistan is progressing, then it must be self-sufficient on in financial front.

“…we will need protect and respect the nation like no other anyone traitor, and now they are not traitors”, prime minister said, noting that if Pakistan economy were move forward then government have to use “dialogue”and no move to a dead end.

This was stated by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. hard work was required for Pakistan progress as if only statements could move country forward then during the reign of PTI “we would be among leading nation.”

Shehbaz said, new government would take steps make Pakistan an investment paradise for investors, because he noted that their capital help the country move forward.

He announced that despite the fact that the Punjab “is elder brother”if all other provinces remain behind in terms of developmentthis is not pakistan developmentthis was just one province development.

“…this servant of Pakistan promises to sure that Pakistan will develop and not just Punjab,” Shehbaz said.

AT-camera briefing on “threatening letter”

Recently-elected prime minister said the opposition is discussing no-confidence petition days before Imran Khan’s “fabricated threatening letter”.

“They say that this letter came to them on March 7, but our decisions we made way before, so if [what the previous government claimed] lie, that’s the thing should open up transparently public,” he said.

Therefore, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that parliament’s security committee be instructed on “threatening letter” to members of the committee in presence of military establishment personnel and bureaucrats – director-general Inter-Services Intelligence, Foreign Secretary and Ambassador who wrote it who was transferred to Brussels.
