Seven men were arrested after reports of bricks and bottles thrown in police cars on County Road.
The police were attacked around 23:15. on Thursday, May 19 When more patrols arrived at help officers, they were also target with damage caused two more police vehicles before the crowd was overwhelmed up.
5 men were arrested on suspicion of be drunk and mischievous in a public place and one was arrested on suspicion of assault on an officer in performance of them duty. Later they were released from arrest and will be distributed with afterwards.

A 26-year- the old man from Bootle was also arrested on suspicion of violent mess after two beer bottles were thrown towards officers. He was taken to the police station in Merseyside and remains in guardianship.
Chief Inspector Jim Wild said: “We know overwhelming majority of in community be shocked to learn that the damage was caused in emergency situations vehicleswhile our officers worked to maintain order and ensure the safety of others. Two key vehicles were forced to take off road like result of this is disgusting behavior and now need to be repaired.
“Fortunately no one of our officers were seriously injured, but the removal of police vehicles from service clear influence on in ability of our officers to participate in emergencies.
