Portuguese driver says he was “all or nothing” at Petit Le Mans
Filipe Albuquerque was fourth in the IMSA Long Beach stage and the decision of the Endurance champion title was postponed until the last race.
“It’s not a circuit suitable for our car. I started from fifth and thanks to a good start I got to third right away. But we didn’t have any progress for the Cadillacs and we ended up finishing fourth. the possible result.”Filipe Albuquerque and Ricky Taylor kept the first place in the IMSA, but now with only 19 points ahead and the title of champion will be decided in the last race of the season in Atlanta.
“It’s going to be a real ending, all or nothing. Basically, whoever stays ahead wins. It will be a tough race, with nerves, very disputed, but it will be excellent for the public. We have been at the front of the championship since the first race and I want to believe that it will remain so until the next checkered flag”,
