Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz submitted his response to the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday with a request to dismiss claims, with expenses, challenging his election as head of the Punjab minister.

In his written reply, Hamza prayed that the elections of Main minister was held in conformity with constitution and law, in light of orders of Supreme Court and pending interpretation of Article 63-A of the Supreme Court.
Thus, the Supreme Court’s interpretation will not affect said election, arguing that the decision of the Supreme Court decision was not retrospective.
