Interior Minister Rana Sanaulla on Monday warned PTI of the “worst consequences” if its protesters resorted to violence, created havoc, or pandered in blackmail during partyupcoming protest on August 13 at the Lahore hockey rink.
“Remember that you will be allowed to hold peaceful protests. […] it’s your constitutional right […] but if you use violence or threats and blackmail [the government] then there will be consequences worse than May 25 […] we are ready for this,” he said.
Sanaullah meant the party a long way to the capital earlier than this year when his supporters knocked out the containers placed to impede their progress and withstood the tear gas bombardment to somehow get to D-Chowk in capital.
His announcement comes a day after PTI Chairman Imran Khan said he would announce strategy to “counter fascism” of in coalition sides.

He reiterated that holding protests is a constitutional and democratic right of every person. “But we won’t allow any person or party create inconvenience in any cost.”
