Sanaullah asks Imran and Shahzad Akbar to apologize to the nation

LAHORE: Home Minister Rana Sanaullah on On Friday, Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and Shahzad Akbar were demanded to apologize to the nation. for using negative tactics to contribute to the British newspaper Daily Mail, for article publication against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Press conference speech here on On Friday he said he was negative tactics were used to harm Sharif’s family’s reputation. He also urged people to know such faces that go to any degree for their personal interest, adding that the chairman of PTI caused irreparable loss for the country by their actions.

Rana Sanaulla said that the negative propaganda was created over money-laundering issue but the allegations have not been proven against any member of Sharif family. He said that even Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) had closed the investigation. against Shehbaz Sharif after being unable to find any evidence. He said that Imran Khan was completely exposed. in Toshakhan, adding that all the receipts he presented to the courts turned out to be fake.

He said Imran Khan didn’t even in position of explaining the allegations he facing. He said Farah Gogi was facing allegations of corruption of 12 billion rupees, adding that Al-Qadir Trust and Toshakhana were big stories of corruption.

He said the National Accountability Act of 1999 had been improved so that it could not be used in future for political victimization. Interior minister demanded decision were adopted at the level of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab to actively participate in the Punjab Assembly elections, and preparation in this relation has been launched.

As for the party election campaign, Rana Sanaullah said party divided nine divisions of Punjab into three regions, adding that committees have been formed to meet party leaders and nominate two candidates in in each county within two weeks.

He said: “The committees will be of senior Parliamentarians PML-N. They will meet with current MPAs and interested in challenging the election. They will visit each constituency and within two weeks finalize two candidates from each constituency.”

He said that then the committees forward their recommendations for party leadership, who I would make decision on candidates.

He said that Imran Khan tried best in in last seven months to create instability in country and encouraged the head of PTI to implement it decision of dissolution [Punjab and KP] meetings and stop naming dates. He said PML-N is ready to deal with any political situation. Interior minister said that next elections in Punjab would clear all doubts of Imran Khan.

He said that preparations had begun for give warm welcome Mian Nawaz Sharif on his return in country. He said committees would be formed on union council level to welcome Nawaz Sharif. “Working PML-N under union the name of the council and the banner will reach Lahore to salute Nawaz Sharif,” he said. added.

He said: “We want assemblies complete their constitutional possession, we believe in democracy”.

When asked, he said that general elections will be held on time, but if the assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab have been dissolved, elections to be held in 90 days.

He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke about the charter of economy in more interest of country, but the head of PTI never took it seriously. He said when Imran Khan made baseless allegations of corruption against PML-N leadership, he himself was also committing corruption at the time.

When asked, he said that FIR [first information reports] against Azam Swati and Shahbaz Gill are not registered on political basis.

On another question, he said that if Suleiman Shehbaz extended his support to PML-N in politics that would be good addition for in party.

‘Charter of economy’ need of hour

Federal Minister for Interior of Rana Sanaullah Khan on Friday said right now economy was the most pressing issue in the country, not the election.

Talking to private media channel, he said ‘charter of economy was needed today and called on all political parties to unite for work on It.

Interior minister believed that the negotiations could break the deadlock, leading to resolutions of questions. But he added, dialogue should be “unconditional”.

When asked about the return of the PML-N supreme leader to the country, Rana said that Nawaz Sharif would return to Pakistan to lead in the party election campaign. He also said that, despite the impossibility of general elections in country right now, date of next elections can be discussed with opposition if they were ready for unconditional negotiations.
