According to journalist Jeff Grubb, the previously leaked Marvel game from Firaxis does not contain any existing superheroes.
That’s what Grubb said during a livestream of Giant Bomb (via Video Games Chronicle).“The reason it might be seen as a new ip while also being a Marvel thing is that it doesn’t contain an existing franchise. It doesn’t even get existing characters.”Instead, players would create their own characters or teams, similar to the Xcom games. The game would also focus on the ‘supernatural elements’ from the Marvel universe, including vampires. In June a list of upcoming 2K leaked Games titles, including the strategy game from Xcom creator Firaxis. The leak was confirmed by multiple sources shortly afterwards.
