Robert Brockman, billionaire, indicted in tax evasion case, died at age 81

Billionaire Robert Brockman who was accused in 2020 in what has been called the largest tax evasion case in history against personality in USA, deceased. He was 81 years old.

Brockman death confirmed on Saturday lead attorney, Cathy Keneally. Additional details and cause of death were not immediately available.

His lawyers argued in the court found him weak-minded and incapable of standing trial. But the judge in May considered him competent and set trial date in February 2023.

Brockman, Florida native and the Houston resident, whose net worth is estimated by Forbes at $4.7 billion, was former Executive Director of Reynolds & Reynolds based in Ohio software a company that provides business solutions.

October 2020 government accused him in indictment on 39 counts with tax avoidance on $2 billion in profit, fraud using electronic means, money laundering and other offences. He pleaded not guilty.
