Yorkshire Water announced the upcoming ban on hoses last week, becoming the fifth company to impose restrictions on water use. The driest July since 1935. over a lot of of country led in rivers dry up and some reservoirs sink to their lowest level for two decades with fears that tighter restrictions will be needed to prevent supply cuts off in some areas.
Water companies say the drought period is exceptional and say they are taking action. responsible measures to ensure that the essentials are safe. Them critics they say they invested too little in maintenance and infrastructure, despite making big profits, and the only way to ensure essential resource is protected to take it in public possession.
