Norway is the perfect country for digital nomads. This is the result of at least one study that includes factors such as internet speed, rental prices and visa requirements.

At the latest, the corona pandemic should have made it clear to many doubters that there is no permanent job is an essential requirement for productive work. This knowledge got around among digital nomads a long time ago. The above list also includes the regulations for a work visa. However, German citizens do not need a visa either in the EU countries mentioned in the ranking or in Norway. Digital nomads, who frequently change their place of residence, often simply enter as tourists, even if, strictly speaking, they would need a work visa in their country of residence. In addition, it also depends on where you want to work in the end.
