Upon his return to Tehran from Damascus, Raisi spoke about the results of his two-day visit to Syria, describing the visit as very important for the two countries “because it comes after 12 years of resilience by the Syrian people and their government.” , backed by Iran, in the face of conspiracies and enemy rebellion.”
Raisi added: “The Syrian people and the people of the region today believe that Iran is a strong pillar on which they can rely and trust, explaining that his visit represents a turning point in the expansion of economic, trade, political and security relations between Iran . and Syria, given that he, on the other hand, expresses appreciation for the resistance and resilience of the Syrian people “and its government in the face of enemy attacks.”
