ISLAMABAD: The State Pakistan Television Corporation achieved its “highest”always” income goal of 4 billion rupees, minister for Fawad Chaudhry announced the information on Wednesday.
In a tweet, Chaudhry said that PTV went bankrupt when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government took his reins. Since coming to power in 2018 government digitized two channels and implemented an efficient business model for public broadcaster added.

It is appropriate to mention here that in 2021 Cabinet Committee on government agencies removed PTV from list of government agencies included in privatization list.
The committee took in decision on request of Ministry for Information and broadcasting.
“A massive renovation is planned. government in PTV”, information secretary said the addition of the overhaul would include financial and professional affairs and other sections of in national a television.
