PTI’s move IHC is looking for live- telecast of imran telethon

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Decided to Appeal to Islamabad High Court (IHC) for in live- telecast of former prime minister Imran Khan international telethon for flood casualties, scheduled on Monday evening (today).

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) last week was banned on broadcasting live speeches of PTI Chairman Imran Khan on all satellite TV channels over his controversial remarks against police officers and a female judge.

Sources said on Sunday when PTI applies in IHC on Monday (today) for instructions for live telecast of his fundraising telethon for flood victims.

Imran will hold international telethon on Monday evening from 9:30 to 12:00 to help in flood victims. Chief Ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also join his.

In a video message shared on PTI official Twitter handle, Imran turned to people including overseas Pakistanis will take part in telethon on Monday and donate all they can.
