LAHORE (Dunya News) Punjab police crackdown against Leaders and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continue on in second consecutive day as PTI and MPA leader Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid was arrested by police on late tuesday evening ahead of Long way for PTI, Dunya News reports.
According to sources, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid was taken into custody while on his way to attend a PTI meeting. in Johar Town in connection with PTI long march today (May 25).
The sources also said that Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid was arrested under Article 16. of Service of Public order (PLO). Police move PTI leader to unknown location.
