ISLAMABAD: technical error in optical fiber of Pakistan Telecommunications Ltd (PTCL) has been refurbished and internet services have been restored Pakistan, the company said. in statement on Friday.
PTCL said the fault was caused due to heavy rains and floods that disrupted the data network in Northern and Central regions.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding” added.
Users faced difficulties during the day due to blackouts and complaints of slow Internet connection speed preventing them work.
Telecommunications Authority of Pakistan also confirmed that the technical fault in data networks that caused internet interruptions in Pakistan has been resolved.
All internet services in Pakistan was restored back to normal.”
