Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday requested China for support for planned revival of Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) project end the troubles of hundreds of thousands of passengers in metropolis.
During the speech at the inauguration of public transport bus project from Peshawar Morra to Islamabad International Airport, he said KCR would “gift for in people of Karachi” and bring great dividends.
“I will take up this opportunity to convey my request to Beijing, the NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission) and President Xi Jinping to reconsider [supporting] KChR for Karachi,” he said, adding that the project is lead to great feelings for China among people of Karachi and more of the country.

“Orange line public transport train in Lahore faced the PTI lawsuit, which caused his delay for over two years. In the end, apart from a few technical points, the court gave a clean card project and ruled that not an ounce of corruption was found,” he said.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also promised ensure fast implementation on all projects that were of public importance, but have been postponed or suspended.
He announced that within a month of Ramadan metro bus for passengers will be free of cost.
