KARACHI: In advising the students, President Dr Arif Alvi told them should work hard and focus on Computer education in the country and once completed, it would take thousands of opportunity in this sector in all the world.
The president expressed it view while facing the Presidential Initiative Artificial Intelligence and Computing (PIAIC) Grand Entrance Test 2022 organized by Saylani Welfare International Trust (SWIT) here at the National Stadium on Sunday.
There’s a need of 8 million of people having competence in IT sector in all the world, the President said, saying that you would not have job opportunities but entrepreneurship opportunities. The government is extending all types of support to the IT industry and the laws were made to facilitate the growth of this sector, he informed.
President Arif Alvi recalled that, moreover, the government he had started some programs like Digital Skills Program which was free and delivered IT education through online classes and thousands of the students took advantage of it program and we earned in dollars.
After completing your training or education in IT industry, you might need the financial support to start entrepreneurship, he pronounced and suggested not to need worry because the government has also launched the Kamayab Jawan Program (KJP) to extend the financial support up at Rs.10 lac.
Financial facilitation under the KJP is very easy to use and is interest-free, explained Arif Alvi. Furthermore, the government opened on way for foreign investors and China wants to invest in Pakistani computer industry.
Him further added than young people of Pakistan was fighting for knowledge and this was a changing Pakistan. So let the young people forget other things and young people should only fire on their training and education, he mentioned.
Highlighting the results of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was leading government in province, the President said no cases of polio have been reported in the last year and it is because the government has taken some steps to control it.
Speaking on the problems are faced by refugees in all over the world the President said that the refugees had to suffer a lot because they could not enter into the different countries but it was only Pakistan that allowed 40 Afghan refugees to live there for the last 40 years.
About on the occasion, SWIT President Maulana Bashir Ahmed Farooqui said that the main object of SWIT was to serve the people and the Trust was trying to do that best to support each person in Village.
In education, we are working to train young people in IT sector as it can help develop the country through the promotion of entrepreneurship in Village.
The representative of Presidential Initiative Artificial Intelligence and Computing (PIAIC) Aunt Ullah Khan also spoke on the occasion and highlighted its importance of IT sector.
More than 25,000 students from different parts of Sindh province participated in the Grand Entrance Test 2022 of the Presidential Initiative Artificial Intelligence and Computing (PIAIC).
