Police report two arrests made in fiery, deadly crash in eastern El Paso; drivers went over 110 mph

EL PASO, TX – A 19-year-old woman and 24-year- the old man was arrested on Wednesday for in deadly multi crash on I-10 in Hawkins.

Police say that Saul Miguel Gutierrez of Horizon was driving a Corvette that lost control and hit central median.

According to investigators, Kayla Nunez of Chaparral was driving a Tahoe that crashed into back of Pontiac Vibe.

Influence of that collision caused Pontiac Vibe lose control hit cement barrier and caught fire.

The police say both drivers were driving more than 110 mph at the time of in crash.

On Monday, ABC-7 spoke to a woman who said it was her brother who died in that crash. Yvonne Delgado identified driver like Raymond Barron.

Police say the victim is still being identified. Delgado said body was so badly burned that it was impossible to identify him.

Police say it was 23-year-old passenger in Corvette. He was identified as Javier Lechuga. of El Paso.

Police say it was 16-year- elderly male passenger in Tacho. The identity of this passenger has not been released.

Gutierrez and Nunes remain in jail. They are both face two charges, manslaughter and an accident involving death. Their bonds total $1.6 million each.
