Terrorist Attack on Hathala Police Station in D.I. Khan
D.I. KHAN: At least one police official was martyred and two others were injured in a terrorist attack on the Hathala police station in Dera Ismail Khan (DIK) on Sunday night.
As per the police, the terrorists attacked the police station with heavy weapons, including hand grenades. The injured officers were transferred to the district hospital for medical treatment.
One police official succumbed to his injuries during treatment, he belonged to Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The terrorists destroyed the main gate of the police station, however, they retreated after a heavy exchange of fire with law enforcers.
