PM for more coordination over relief assistance to Turkiye, Syria

  • Says relief items should be sent in view of requirements

LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said that for target of coordination, all emergency assistance to victims of the earthquake people of Turkey and Syria should be sent through the National Disaster Management Administration (NDMA).

prime minister presided over a high-level meeting on review current relief activities on Part of Pakistan, in earthquake hit Turkey and Syria.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Edhi, Sailani and Al-Khidmat Foundation, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, Ambassadors of Pakistan to Turkey and Syria and other dignitaries, said the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing. in Press release.
