ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday headed the implementation of measures relating to health projects in course on priority basis in to facilitate the common man.
Chair a meeting on improvement of health sector, the prime minister expressed satisfaction that the Naya Pakistan National Health Card is the largest program in the health sector in of the country history.
He said the poor and the class media would be the biggest beneficiaries of health cardcome tale universal health coverage system it is not even available in several developed countries.
The prime minister was informed of the progress regarding the arrangement of health facilities and projects in course at the Confederation government level, and in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It was highlighted that a large number of people in Punjab and KP benefit from free health facilities.
The meeting discussed that the government is launching a program to control rickets growth in children particularly in rural districts of Village.
It was pointed out that to improve maternal and child health, e in all the board monitoring of the baby’s health would be delivered out since birth.
Was informed that the government I wanted ensure the ability-building of nursing sector through training of international standard.
The prime minister was informed that due to the effective measures taken by the governmentil rate of general vaccination of citizens went from 66 to 76 percent.
Also in Punjab, the rate of general vaccination touched over 91 percent, internationally recognized. Also, the goals for Vaccination against Covid-19 is also being set.
The special assistant of the PM attended the meeting on Health Dr Faisal Sultan and provincial ministers Dr Yasmeen Rashid and Taimur Saleem Jhagra.
