Three parents two were arrested of who was beaten with a stun gun during a confrontation outside an elementary school in Arizona that was locked down down over report of somebody with a gun El Mirage police reported Friday.
Thompson Ranch Elementary School was locked down down after reporting around 10:30 am that someone who he had a gun, he tried to open the locked door and ran offEl Mirage Police Lieutenant Jimmy Chavez said.
The man was later taken into custody and examined by mental health professionals, the police. in El Mirage, a. city northwest of Phoenix said in later statement. The statement does not say if there are any gun was found.
The police said criminal charges pending against a man whose identity has not been released but did not say what they might have been.
Security scare in El Mirage happened a little more less than two months after the mass shooting and police backlash at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas left 19 children and two teachers dead.

“They physically tried to enter the campus and got into physical altercations. with our officers,” Chavez said. “They pressed hard on the officers who were trying to get on campus”.
The police got together on elementary school staff after school reported that someone who looks like the gun was trying to get inside building but the door was locked, and the man was chased off personnel, Chavez said.

AT one moment when the police were clearing the corridor, they found what was described as a suspicious package that prompted students and staff to move out of in area, he said. Police statement says he was “safe” but does not say what exactly item was.

Dysart Unified School District in statement reminded parents what is not during self-isolation one can enter or exit the campus.

El Mirage is city of about 35,800, about 15 miles northwest of center of Phoenix. Thompson Elementary School is a K-8 school. with over 600 students, according to his website.
