Pakistan rejects ‘unsubstantiated’ Indian defense claims minister

Pakistan on Sunday completely rejected and strongly condemned the unsubstantiated and totally unacceptable comments. made Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh at a recent event in Jammu, the Foreign Office (FO) said in a statement.

It said that protection minister in his remarks distorted well-established historical facts about the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, made baseless accusations and threatened against Pakistan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, India should have wondered why, despite the introduction of draconian laws, it keeps all valley under military siege for decades, imprisoning thousands of innocent Kashmiris and their true representatives and unprincipled killing of over India’s 100,000 Kashmiris failed to put out the flames of freedom from the heart of Kashmiris.

“India needs a reminder from history that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute that remains on Agenda of United Nations and its solution lies in implementation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions. Pakistan will always continue to provide all possible support to people of IIOJK in them just struggle achieve their right to self-determination.”

The statement said that Pakistan also calls international community take a practical steps to stop India from continuing brutality of Kashmiri people and illegal attempts to change the demographic structure of IIOJK.

“Pakistan is a supporter of regional peace and stability. At the same time, we are quite capable of disruption of any aggressive plans, and we have demonstrated our resolve and opportunities in in this respect on numerous cases, including in recent past”, the statement reads further.
