KARACHI: An accountability court in Karachi sentenced suspect to four years on Friday in prison and justified another in reference to corruption involving the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).
The court sentenced the accused Shafiq Soomro and acquitted Latif, official of company, in link.
Hussein Bakhsh Narejo, store agency assistant and defendant in exile, still a fugitive in accordance with court orders.
According to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Narejo was admitted to Jinnah Hospital. in 2017 for treatment, from where he succeeded escape and was put on the wanted list by the court.
“He [Narejo] this main accused in link,” NAB said.
