LAHORE: Contrary to Supreme Court ruling, cabinet division on On Monday, a notice was issued confirming the appointment of Punjab cabinet of 34 under a “trusted” chief minister Hamza Shahbaz.
The notification was approved by Punjab Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal.
The Punjab cabinet includes Rana Iqbal Khan, Mehr Ejaz Ahmad, Kazim Ali Pirzada, Chaudhry Shafiq, Rana Ejaz Noon, Asma Zahid Bokhari, Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Ghulam Qasim Khunjra, Colonel (retired) Rana Tariq, Zishan Rafiq, Saniya Ashik, Syed Hassan Murtaza, Syed Ali Haider Gillani, Bilal Asghar Warraich, Qasim Abbas Langah, Rana Liaqat, Malik Asad Hokar, Ahmad Ali, Sibtein Bukhari, Saba Sadiq and Ashraf Ansari.
It is pertinent to note that the swearing-in ceremony of Punjab Cabinet took place over weekends on Sunday at the house of the Governor of the Punjab.
