President Dr. Arif Alvi expressed dissatisfaction over the “American conspiracy” narrative associated with the removal of his party Chairman Imran Khan government through parliamentary distrust vote and emphasized that should be fully explored.

President Alvi said that there is a possibility of early general elections, stating that both the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and PTI wanted early polls in in past. “Even the Supreme Court considered issue of early elections and consulted with politicians”, added.

“I’m trying to evolve understanding of these questions, and I will facilitate this process. The most important issue is a holding of free and fair elections.”
