ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Raja Perwaiz Ashraf on Monday told Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders that they cannot return to the lower house as their resignation was accepted.

“I’ve posted out letters repeatedly, but not a single member of PTI has reached me. After delegations led by Amir Dogar and Assad Qaiser met me, I started accepting resignations,” he said.
The speaker explained that the delegation led by Kaiser, which held the meeting with to him in December last year asked to accept PTI’s resignation.
