ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Ulema Council of Pakistan (PUC) Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi on Monday said no government in Pakistan may deviate from principled official position of country on Israeli occupation of Palestine and Indian occupation of Kashmir.
Speaking at a press conference here, he said that Pakistanis as a nation stand behind their Palestinian brothers and government of Pakistan also act in accordance with aspirations of in people of country. He added what is not chance for Any government of any political party recognize Israel as Pakistanis are united on Kashmir and Palestine.
Ashrafi said no party may deviate from position of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and position of pakistani state on in issue of Palestine. He said that the delegation that visited Israel did not have a representative of ulemov, calling this delegation a representative of Pakistan is great exaggeration.
He said that after clear statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs party denies all accusations in connection with visit to Israel.
He said that the delegation that visited Israel did not represent Pakistan at all, and government It has removed leading from service related with in official Pakistan Television News (PTV) for visiting Israel.
Ashrafi said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FO) of Pakistan denied the accusations, calling on all political parties not to make Palestinians issue controversial, saying that the PUC has always opposed such accusations even during Imran Khan’s tenure prime minister”We have countered all such elements that speak of the recognition of Israel.”
He said the PUC should write a letter to the ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Interior take action against these pakistani citizens who visited Israel.
Ashrafi urged pilgrims to refrain from all types of Hajj of political and religious activities during the Hajj, observe the laws of Saudi Arabia and follow instructions, data government and teachers.
He said that national political leadership should take way of dialogue instead of confrontation how confrontation will be lead to further destabilization that Pakistan cannot afford.
