Nintendo would be open to using more franchises to make movies or series
A great effort
As commented on the round of questions and answers from the last investor meeting, the company would be putting a great effort in develop audiovisual material (or what is the same, series or films ) of its franchises. After the development of the animated film Super Mario , and rumors of Donkey Kong in the process, it seems that the company has no plan to stop here, and he’s putting all the meat on the grill to think about future projects.
We leave you with the statements of Shigeru Miyamoto :
I have high expectations for the animated Super Mario movie. For decades, our focus has been on making consumers smile by creating each product with great care. Also with visual content, we want to continue creating material that brings smiles to generations of consumers around the world. We recently announced the release date of the film as production is getting closer to completion. In the future, we also want to actively use other intellectual properties. With visual content, people can experience Nintendo’s IP in a variety of places, so I think it’s nice to have a lot of content accessible for people who don’t have a dedicated gaming device. However, we want to continue to do each title with care, so I cannot speak of a specific number. We want to work diligently to build a strong offering.
What do you think? What would you like a series or movie about?
Do not hesitate to leave it in the comments!
