Sportier version of the 911 has five models to choose from and prices are already available
Porsche announced the launch of the new generation of the 911 GTS that has already reached the national market in five versions with a range of novelties among which is the increase in power.
The five versions are divided between the coupé and convertible variants of rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive of the Carrera and the model Targa. The prices already announced by Porsche can be found at the end of this article.
The new generation (992) of the ‘sportiest’ 911 GTS is equipped with a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder boxer turbo engine delivering 480 hp ( 353 kW) and with a maximum torque of 570 Nm – when we count, it is 30 hp (22 kW) more than in the current 911 Carrera S and in the previous 911 GTS and 20 Nm more than in its predecessor.
The new Porsche 911 GTS announces an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds with the 911 Carrera 4 GTS with the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox – 3 tenths of a second faster than its predecessor – but driving pleasure can be varied with the 7-speed manual gearbox – c With 10 mm shortened lever for faster passages (also for all versions) – as an alternative to the automatic PDK.
With the suspension of the 991 Turbo modified for this new 911 GTS, all Carrera variants are fitted as standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) combined with 10 mm chassis lowering. On the 911 Targa 4 GTS, the PASM is combined with the chassis of the Targa 4S.
The new generation 911 GTS also comes with the braking capacity of the 911 Turbo adjusted, also receiving this model. the wheels with 20” front and 21′ central tightening at the rear. As an option, the Lightweight Design Package, available for the first time on this model, achieves a reduction of 25 kg with the use of plastic-reinforced carbon fiber (CFRP) integral drumsticks, lighter side and rear windows and more battery light, as well as removing the benches behind.
Porsche launches the 911 GT3 with the Touring pack
With a series of dark or black details marking the exterior design, all new 911 GTS have the Sport Design Package, with specific finishes for the front, rear and side skirts. The rims of the headlamps and daytime running lights are dimmed, and Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus) LED headlamps are standard equipment. The taillights are specific to GTS models.

Inside, the GT sports steering wheel, as well as the Sport Chrono Package with mode selector, the Porsche app Track Precision and tire temperature display are standard, as are the Plus sports seats. Race-Tex microfiber material emphasizes the ambience in the center seats, steering wheel rim, door handles and armrests, storage compartment lid or gearbox lever.
