New Houthi methods of looting… Confiscation of the property of a businessman on charges of “Mossad”

The Houthi coup militia seized the home of a Yemeni businessman, and issued judicial orders to loot his property in Sanaa, which is under its control, after trumping trumped-up charges, including collaborating with the Israeli Mossad.

The businessman confirmed Yemeni Muhammad Yahya Al-Haifi said that Houthi leaders had robbed his house and were putting pressure on him to force him to give up his property and companies.

The businessman said that the Houthi leaders had charged him with a number of charges, including that he had fled outside Yemen even though he was in Sanaa. Then they accused him that his house, which they had seized, belonged to Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, and then they returned. To say that it was the residence of the American ambassador, stressing that all of these are lies.

He added: “The Houthis accused me of being a spy and an agent of America and with the legitimacy and the alliance against them.”

and the publication of the businessman’s lawyer Abdul Baset Ghazi, a document addressed by the Specialized Criminal Prosecution to the Head of the Information Collection Unit at the Central Bank, stating: “A For precautionary seizure of the money and property of the accused, who are accused of compromising the independence of the Republic of Yemen, aiding the enemy, and communicating with the Israeli Mossad and American intelligence.”

Lawyer Ghazi explained that the Houthis seized the house of businessman Muhammad Yahya Al-Haifi, after they took control of the city. Sanaa, claiming that it is owned by the American ambassador, and added: After a long court battle and “presenting the ownership documents and confirming that it is his (property), Judge Mujahid Al-Amdi, the head of the court (affiliated with the militia), instructed the judicial guard to vacate the house and hand it over to its owner.”

Under the court order, the former judicial guard Salih al-Shaer (who was appointed by the militia) wrote a note to Abu Muadh al-Nabhani to hand over the house, so he got out of it, but instead entered other armed men led by another Houthi named Amin Jassar.

He indicated that his client attended “several sessions before the court to follow up his case, and after appointing a new judicial guard, the surprise came with a decision to reject the grievance, so the prosecution imposed a precautionary seizure on the rest of the property and circulated to the money changers.”

He added sarcastically, “They said that the security in Sana’a did not spare those fleeing the looting of their property, so did the doctor come?

Lawyer Ghazi said, “I mean, hand over your house because it is current (beautiful) or you are a Mossad. From my opinion, all the people come out and the Hashemites rule themselves, and we We go out looking for land in Africa or the frozen ocean.”
