Nuri now enables customers to create automatic savings plans for investments in Bitcoin and Ethereum – for the first time in Germany. This should also compensate for exchange rate fluctuations.

So far, users of the Austrian crypto platform Bitpanda have already had a monthly Create a savings plan for cryptocurrencies. Now this is also possible in Germany. On Tuesday, the Berlin-based Neobank Nuri (formerly: Bitwala) is launching a corresponding offer in which you can invest in monthly savings plans in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Nuri relies on flexibility.

Flexible crypto savings plans from Nuri

As the Handelsblatt reports, the new Nuri service starts at 30 euros per month. Customers have the option of skipping payments or adjusting them. The crypto savings plan can even be deleted at any time. Nuri takes over the buying and selling of Bitcoin and Ether. The prerequisite for using the savings plans is that interested parties use the so-called custodial wallets, which are offered by the Berlin Solarisbank. Nuri is thinking about a possible expansion of the crypto savings plans to own wallets, as CEO Kristina Walcker-Mayer told Handelsblatt.

The idea behind the crypto savings plans is that users should be able to regularly invest in the crypto market – regardless of the growth or collapse of the volatile market. The question of the right way to get started with Bitcoin is thus eliminated, according to Walcker-Mayer. It’s never too late to get started. “But the attempt to beat the market often does not work,” said the Nuri CEO to the Handelsblatt. In the long term, the market trend is pointing upwards. Customers could save costs with the crypto savings plans.

Crypto-Lending: Nuri is working on euros – Income account

In the future Nuri wants also offer savings plans for other financial products such as stocks or ETFs. In addition, Nuri continues to work on the so-called euro income account. Customers should invest their money in euros and receive income equivalent to interest of two percent. Nuri wants to generate the money by lending part of the deposit as crypto currency (crypto lending). So far, however, the offer is pending. Reason according to Handelsblatt: legal and technical difficulties.
