Khan was facing growing criticism of its performance including fees of his management of en economy suffering from high inflation and rising deficit and he lost his majority in Lower Chamber on Wednesday when The Muttahid Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (DMK-P) withdrew from coalition.
Establishment supporters party – who cast his lot in with the opposition seeks to overthrow prime minister – has seven seats in Lower Chamber.
BUT vote on the move must be done by Monday.
Opposition leaders called on Khan retires before he reaches the age of majority in parliament, but his aides said he would not leave.

Khan’s exile could mean one more thing round of instability in the country in what is not prime minister ever completed full five-year term.
HOW VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE WORKS
According to the constitution, and prime minister is an elected majority of National Assembly, consisting of 342 deputies.
The candidate needs a majority of legislators, 172, to vote for him to become prime minister. It’s the same number of votes against to him in No-confidence vote it is necessary to overthrow him and dissolve his cabinet.
So Khan could survive un-confidence vote even if he got less votes than the opposition, but only if the latter has not received 172 votes it does up majority in Chamber for 342 seats.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE VOTE?
If Khan loses vote, parliament can continue to function up to fiveyear stay ends in August 2023, after which general elections must be held within 60 days.
There will be vote in National Assembly for election new prime minister serve until then. Candidates can be placed forward any party with legislators in Assembly.
That new prime minister may, however, call but general elections immediately, without waiting for 2023.
Some constitutional analysts say the assembly could be dissolved and general elections will take place if no candidate can win a majority of votes become prime minister.

IS VOTING COMPLETE?

WHAT IS KHAN’S STRATEGY?
Khan ordered all ruling legislators remain absent from the meeting on day of in vote to soften any chance of dissidents secretly supporting petition for his removal.
Absenteeism won’t hurt Khan cause because he doesn’t need to win; is he just needs to ensure the opposition can’t get 172 votes necessary pass No-confidence motion.
