NA-245 unofficial unofficial poll results

KARACHI: Vote for by-election in Karachi constituency NA-245 has ended and counting of votes is currently goes to pick representative for place vacated after death of Aamir Liaquat Hussein.

Voting began at 8:00 am and continued until 5:00 pm. Voting time was extended for one more hour for polling stations 143 and 144.

15 candidates belonging to different political parties are participating in the by-election from District 245 of the National Assembly. Among them, the most prominent are Farooq Sattar (India), Mehmood Baki Moulvi of PTI, Moid Anwar of MQM and Syed Hafizuddin of PSP.

Unconfirmed and unofficial results from 51 polling stations show that PTI candidate Mahmoud Maulvi is ahead with 5067 votes while MQP-Pakistan candidate Moid Anwar behind with 1601 votes.

Mohammed Ahmed Raza of TLP currently has 1019 votesFarooq Sattar scored 321 goals votes and Syed Hafizud Dean from PSP in last job title with 129 votes.

BUT total of 263 polling stations were registered. set up for by-elections, of of which 60 polling stations were declared secret, and 203 – the most secret.

Constituency includes Jamshed Quarters, Pakistan Quarters, Martin Quarters, PECHS, Lines District, Soldier’s Bazaar, New Town, Patel Para, Garden West, Martin Quarters, Tin Hatti Quarters, PIB Colony, etc. Total 166,869 people. votes were thrown in this constituency.

Former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Voters were urged to go to the polls on Sunday in NA-245 to cast them votes among reports of low turnout in constituency.
