Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and high-level delegation of The European Union, led by Charge d’Affaires Thomas Deyler, discussed the Talent Partnership Program (TPP) and the common system of Preferences Plus (GSP Plus) in their meeting took place in CM House on Tuesday.
The TPP is launched to discourage illegal immigration to rich countries. countries by developing framework exchange skilled and unskilled labor under an agreement to be signed through the EU.
The meeting was attended CM Advisor on Investment”, Qasim Naveed, Chairman of P&D, Hassan Naqvi, and Special Secretary of the CM, Rahim Sheikh.
The EU Delegation included Political Affairs Officer Ms Dilard Teilane, Eric Khan EMLO and Trade Advisor Husnain Iftakhar.
head of the delegation informed the chief minister that the EU has envisaged a program to stop illegal immigration, which violates human rights. As part of the program, the EU will conclude agreements on employment in some South African and European countries including France for in people of Pakistan.
The program will provide employment opportunities to skilled and unskilled workers. provincial government will have to provide technical training to its young people so that they can be sent abroad under the EU programme.

the provincial government, before launching technical training programs, will evaluate requirements of trade and field in what skilled workers required and then courses will be offered accordingly.
Main minister instructed P&D Chairman Hassan Naqvi to negotiate terms of programs with EU team for starting the schema.
VSP Plus scheme allows qualified development countries do not pay duties on some export to the European Union. The object was first awarded to Pakistan in January 2014 for 10 years. Since January 2014, Pakistan has been enjoying the benefits of GSP Plus.
