MQM-P reiterates call for new delimitation ahead of Sunday LG polls

Leaders of The “renamed” Muttahida Qaumi-Pakistan Movement (MQM-P) on Friday confirmed its call for new distinction before holding local body polls in Karachi and Hyderabad. The long-awaited elections in LB are planned on January 15 (Sunday).

“Section 9 does not apply for by an order issued in accordance with Article 10(1)” – he added.

The ESP has no jurisdiction in Section 10(1), former law minister added.

Speaking on the occasion, MMK-P leader Faisal Subzwari said he had doubts about transparency of elections due to constituency disputes.
