ISLAMABAD: Rana Sanaullah Khan said that financial promises made at the UN climate conference in Geneva will give a significant impetus to the development of Pakistan. economy and serve as a rebuke to those who falsely claimed that the country facing Default.
On Monday, international donors announced their commitment to provide Pakistan with over 10 billion dollars in help to help with recovery efforts following last year devastating floods. Conference, co-hosted Pakistan and the United Nations, brought together representatives from some 40 countries and private donors and international financial institutions.
During the conference, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan would need an additional $16.3 billion. over in next three years before begin restoration and strengthening of ability withstand impact of changing of the climate.
