The commander of “Team 20 Masam”, this team cleared the village of Al-Sila Al-Sawda of mines, as it recently removed 11 anti-personnel mines from the vicinity of the houses, and was able to clear the agricultural lands, so that life returned to the village.
Al-Jahouri added, in a statement published by the media office of “Masam”, that the engineering team extracted 5 mines that were in the vicinity of the only water well in the village, so that the citizens could benefit from it again without fear of an accident.
The program stated that clearing the village completely of mines “planted a smile on the faces of its residents,” especially the farmers who returned to their farms, where agriculture is their main source of income.
