LAHORE: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday whipped out with Prime Minister Imran Khan for using National Security Committee (KNB) platform for his personal interests.
Speaking at a press conference, Maryam said that the PTI-led government, instead of talking about his achievements, resorted to using “fake letter” to gain popularity support.
Maryam meant “threatening letter”. against PTI government who, according to Prime Minister Imran Khan, was sent to Pakistan by an American diplomat.
She told the premier in desire to save his government not only used a “forged letter” based on “unreasonable conspiracy”, but he also abused the platform of NSC.
“You have already to read out content of the letter you tried to hide,” she told the prime minister. “Then why don’t you show the letter anyone?
Maryam claimed that the prime minister does not show letters anyone because there is nothing in the letter he claimed.
“You were waving blank paper during your jalsa,” she stated, adding that there was no threat to begin with. “This letter was drawn up in the Ministry of foreign affairs.”
She said that one day Prime Minister Imran Khan realized that he had already let the cat out of bag and wanted to hide his deceit, he sent concerned ambassador in Brussels immediately, so as not to one could interrogate him.
