Marrium terms flood situation in country a national emergency

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Information and broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb called the flood situation in country a national emergency.
In a statement on Thursday she said national spirit required deal with devastation caused disaster in Balochistan and Sindh provinces.
The Minister of Information addressed his compatriots, including overseas Pakistanis in give donations for in help of flood victims, noting that big amount will be required in view of large-scale devastation.
Donations can be made in Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for 2022, Account No. G-12164.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the federal government works in coordination with provinces, and resources are being mobilized to help those affected people.
Referring to the difficulties faced in Rescue and rescue work due to heavy rains and floods, she said they can be expedited with in help of in people.
