A man was taken to hospital after being rescued from the water on the Salford waterfront. Emergency services have been stopped just until 11 am on Thursday (June 2).
Fire brigades, police and paramedics were at the scene. Greater Manchester Police later released a statement saying the man had been rescued.
“Officers were called to report of a body in water in Salford Quays just until 11:00 today,” the statement said. out of water and to the hospital, where he remains.”

“It is believed that there are no suspicious circumstances at this stage and the investigation is ongoing.”
