The police detained a 36-year-old man they suspect of be a shooter who shot nine-year- old Liverpool girl Olivia Pratt-Corbel.
Olivia was shot on Monday night masked gunman who broke into her family home while chasing another man in dovecote area of Liverpool.
The police statement said: “A 36-yearthe old man was arrested on suspicion of in murder of nine-year- old Olivia Pratt-Korbel.
“That man, who from Hayton area also arrested on two bills of attempt murder.
” arrest occurred after an operation involving armed officers in Merseyside area last night, Thursday 25 August.
“Human currently in in custody, where he is being interrogated by investigators.”
Serena Kennedy, Chief Constable of Merseyside Police appealed to members of in public to help identify Olivia’s killer.
She described it as “shocking and terrifying attack that will impact our communities.”
Additional staff were brought in, including detectives. in from other forces in north-western England help in investigation.
