Majority women of colors ‘hide’ their heritage due to UK workplace racism | Race

Women of people of color feel compelled to change their behaviour, and in in many cases their names are because of widespread structural racism in workplace, new research It has found.

“What a waste of those women are time and energy,” she said. “We need workplaces that respect and value individuality and allow women concentrate on bring your talents to the workforce. Given skills and lack of manpower, it’s a waste of potential that we cannot afford.”

Responding to findings, Caroline Noakes, conservative chair of in women and equality committee, called for “positive action by government”.
