LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday instructed PML-Q leader Kamil Agha to contact out to the electoral commission of Pakistan (ECP) against last decision retain Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain as President of in party, ARY NEWS reports.
The LHC asked the PML-Q leader to contact out to ECP as they have enough authority to deal with in issue. “The study of issues related to elections is not the prerogative of of courts,” Judge Shahid Karim said.
Court wrapped up case after petitioner agreed to reach out to the commission.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) leader Kamil Ali Agha has filed a petition with the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking a reprieve on a decision from the electoral commission of Pakistan (ECP) to stop inside-party polls for election new president and general secretary.
He petitioned the BAC through his counsel Safdar Shaheen.
