Simferopol, May 23 – The left-bank part of the Kherson region was shelled from artillery shells by Ukrainian forces, the Nova Kakhovka administration reports on its Telegram channel.
“The armed forces of Ukraine continue to terrorize the civilian infrastructure of the left-bank Kherson region,” the report said.
So, over the past day, Kardashenka, Novaya Kakhovka, Korsunka, Beshanovka, Nikid Pierre, Dnebriany, Aleshki, Sagi, Sergeevka, Pervomayevka, Kakhovka, Podstepnoye came under artillery fire. Information about casualties and destruction is specified.
The Kherson region became a subject of the Russian Federation after a referendum held in September 2022. At the same time, the Ukrainian side does not recognize its legitimacy and continues to bomb the territory of the region. Today, 75% of the territory of the Kherson region is under Russian control, and part of the right bank of the Dnieper River, including Kherson, remains under Ukraine.
