Lawyers for Representative Marjorie Taylor Green, Georgia, argued that in the court filed on Thursday that the text message she allegedly sent should not be included in the additional record in a chance to hit her off primary vote in Georgia next a month because she “doesn’t remember” of This is.

“I am authorized to say on on behalf of of Rep. Green that she doesn’t remember anything of this text and since her texts are automatically deleted after 30 days, she has no way check anything about it,” her lawyers said in a statement.

Her lawyers also argue that the alleged text is “harmless”.

Text message in question which is dated Jan 17, 2021 apparently show Green tells the then head of the White House of Mark Meadows employees, which some GOP lawmakers called President Donald Trump should call for martial law.

The report, which fell into the hands of CNN, called into question over Green’s testimony at the hearing last week when she couldn’t remember if she defended for martial law so that President Joe Biden would not accept office.

NBC News couldn’t on its own confirm all of text messages that appear to reveal the efforts of Trump officials and former allies of the president to overthrow results of 2020 presidential election, which goes far beyond what was previously known.

Green testified under oath for almost four hours as a witness at a court hearing last week, and she was asked if she competed for for martial law before Biden’s inauguration.

“I don’t remember,” Green repeated repeatedly when asked about conversations and social media election posts and attack on January 6, 2021
