Larian is working on a new patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 which should be the biggest patch yet for the game.
The patch should be about 60 GB in size, the company reports on Steam, though some of that space will be needed to overwrite previous files of the game. Larian remains vague about the content of ‘patch 6’ for the time being.
The company does report that it is showing a new, playable class at EGX in London this week. “Who’s ready for magic?” With that, the company seems to be hinting at the ‘sorcerer’ class.
It is also clear that patch 6 makes it possible for players to select salami. That’s a reference to an interactive LARP that Larian has previously held and a nod to a trend in D&D sessions where players use bizarre objects to attack enemies, for example. Players will soon be able to hold a salami in each hand during the game, although it is not clear whether this will yield any results.Larian will soon have a new Panel From Hell, detailing more details about patch 6. As far as we know, Baldur’s Gate should be out of Early Access sometime in 2022.
