Even the unexpectedly popular song “Peaches” from the new Super Mario Bros. movie, which features Jack Black, seems to be a huge hit with audiences. The actor and frontman for Tenacious D provide his voice for the character of Bowser, who performs the memorable piano ballad as a tribute to his “one true love,” Princess Peach.

The track achieved recent success on streaming sites, prompting Black to collaborate with Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade to produce a music video treatment. Black appears in the video as Bowser dressed in a textured green suit, spiked accessories, and a red mohawk wig. The visual lasts two minutes and takes place in a peach chamber with a peach piano. In addition to exposing his inner self on the piano, Black showcases some of his signature dance movements and endearingly eccentric personality throughout the performance.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie was released in theaters on April 5. According to Variety, it has already grossed $204 million at the box office. Furthermore, the movie appeared in The Mandalorian alongside Lizzo last week. Black and his bandmate in Tenacious D, Kyle Gass, were invited to participate in the “Hanukkah Sessions” hosted by Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin in December.
