iTranslate Keyboard is designed to facilitate communication in foreign languages. The tool replaces the virtual keyboard on the Android smartphone or iPhone and automatically translates everything that is typed into over 100 languages. This gives you the opportunity to stay in touch with friends all over the world in any text app, such as Whatsapp, iMessage, Facebook Messenger or in your respective email app.
Via the dictation mode Simply speak the text to be translated to yourself. You can then have it read out via the loudspeaker symbol. In the paid Pro version, camera translation and offline mode are also available. After a one-week trial period, the translator services cost $ 39.99 per year.
More options thanks to the new AI system
In August iTranslate also released an AI-controlled writing assistant called Grammatica. The has a personal dictionary, a spell checker and grammatical support. Grammatica is available for all iOS devices and can be installed from the Chrome web store. The release of the Android app version is planned for January 2022.
iTranslate is currently also being used in over 50 schools worldwide. The app is installed on iPads, which are made available individually to students who are not taught in their native language. This allows parts of the textbooks to be scanned in to read them in the respective mother tongue and thus keep up with the lessons. In addition, the teachers use the software to be able to explain the tasks to the students in the class without any problems.
