Quetta: unofficial results started pouring in from various constituencies after voting for Balochistan local government (LG) elections in 32 districts are over, according to ARY News. on Sunday.
According to the information, the voting time ended today at 17:00. for surveys conducted by LG in Balochistan in 32 out of 34 districts amid heightened security measures.
Party candidate Jamhuri Watan was leading with 41 votes in Dera Bugti, UC 13 Ward No. 5. Pakhtunkhwa Party candidate Milli Awami was leading with 47 votes in Chamber of Chaman No. 31 followed by Candidate Jooey.
Party candidate Jamhuri Watan lead Chamber Dera Bugti No. 8 with 354 votesfollowed by independent with 106 votes. Balochistani Awami Party ahead with 362 votes in Jafarabad constituency No. 4, while Jamaat-e-Islami candidate second with 72 votes.
Balochistan National Party (Mengal) candidate Abdullah Faiz Sajid leading with eleven votes in Eidga Gwadar District No. 23, with Hak Do Tehrik’s Candidate second place with eight votes. However, an independent candidate won by Kohlu Tehsil Mawand UC 12 Ward No. 2 with 71 votes.
There are 3,552,398 registered voters. for LG polls, while 5,226 polling stations, including 576 for men and 562 for women were created for LG surveys in Balochistan.
